STILLWATER, Oklahoma – The honors keep rolling in for former Oklahoma State guard James Anderson.
Anderson was named a Division I third-team All-American by the National Association of Basketball Coaches, only the sixth Cowboy in school history to receive NABC honors. Earlier this week, the Junction City, Arkansas native was named to the Wooden Award All-American team and the AP All-America Second Team.
Anderson averaged 22.6 points and 5.8 rebounds per game while leading the Cowboys to a 22-11 record and an NCAA Tournament appearance.
He is the first NABC All-American from OSU since Joey Graham was a third-team honoree in 2005. Bryant Reeves, Byron Houston, Bob Mattick, and Gale McArthur have also received All-America status from the coaches association.
Anderson has declared for the NBA draft.
