Christian Overstreet’s three-run homer in the second capped a five-run inning for the Bears, who took a 9-0 lead.
Luke Volt added a solo shot in the fourth to put Missouri State on top 10-0. The Bears would add two more insurance runs in the sixth and another in the ninth.
ORU’s first run came when Tyler Saladino scored on a passed ball in the bottom of the sixth. The Golden Eagles would get two more in the bottom of the ninth, but it was not nearly enough to complete a comeback.
