TEMPE, Arizona -- Oklahoma State managed to come back against Chattanooga without Andrea Riley, but the Cowgirls’ have their star back for their matchup with No. 5 Georgia.
With Riley back on the floor, Oklahoma State gets its leading scorer back. In 33 games this season, the senior guard averaged 26.6 points per game and 6.4 assists per game to pace the Cowgirls offense.
In the absence of Riley Tegan Cunningham stepped up for OSU, scoring 25 points and nine rebounds in the comeback win against Chattanooga.
The Lady Bulldogs are led offensively by guard Ashley Houts, who averages 12.7 points per game and 3.8 assists per game. Porsha Phillips patrols the paint for Georgia, who scores 8.8 points per game and grabs 8.3 rebounds per game.
A win over Georgia would tie the furthest trip Oklahoma State has ever made into the tournament. The Cowgirls made Sweet 16 trips in 1991 and 2008.
