OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz signed kicker AJ Haglund, defensive end CJ McLain and lineman Dustin Barno Monday.

Haglund began his career with the Yard Dawgz in 2005, spending one season with the team. He set numerous records in his career, including holding the record for career extra point accuracy (90.9 percent) and co-owns the league’s record for the longest field goal in postseason play (57 yards).

McLain, who has played eleven seasons between the AFL and af2 leagues, ranks second all-time in the league with 50.5 sacks.

According to head coach Sparky McEwen, McLain will offer the experience and a “fresh high motor” in the edge rusher.

Barno has spent five seasons with the Colorado Crush and the Arizona Rattlers, where he recorded 50 tackles, 41 assists and 13 sacks.

The Yard Dawgs and their new players will begin the season against Jacksonville Sharks Saturday, April 3 at 7:05 p.m.

The game will be held at the Cox Convention Center.
