FULERTON, California -- The Oklahoma Sooners topped the Virginia Cavaliers 2-0 in the team's last game of the Judi Garman Classic.

It was a pitcher’s duel for six innings, until Oklahoma put up the only two runs of the game in the top of the seventh. Sooners’ starter Kristen Allen pitched five scoreless innings, only giving up one hit in her five innings of service.

Keilani Ricketts came in to close things out, pitching the final two innings of the game and retired four of the five batters she faced at the plate.

Dani Dobbs got OU on the board first, her two-RBI double in the top of the seventh brought home Lindsey Vandever and Chana’e Jones home to take a 2-0 lead.

The Sooners are back in action Tuesday night in Tulsa.
