Tulsa, Oklahoma – Tulsa senior Larrissa Williams has been named the Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year.
Williams, who was also named to the C-USA All-Defensive Team, received the honor after racking up 30 steals and averaging 2.4 blocks per game. The Little Rock, Arkansas native also averaged 9.1 rebounds this year.
TU Freshman Taleya Mayberry was also named to the All-Freshman Team. Mayberry averaged 12.4 points and had a team-best 86 assists and 63 steals.
