MINNEAPOLIS -- Oklahoma State’s offense went cold in Minnesota as the Cowboys were shutout 3-0 in the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome by Loyola Marymount.
Davis Duren’s three singles were OSU’s only hits and the Cowboys failed to advance a runner past first base. OSU's Tom Belza did not get a hit and had his career-best 17-game hitting streak come to an end.
Thomas Keeling received the loss as the Cowboys dropped to 4-2 this season.
Joel Licon singled to bring Shon Roe home and put the Lions up 1-0 in the fourth inning.
LMU (3-8) added a run in the sixth when Colton Plaia hit his first home run of the year and topped things off in the ninth with a run.
OSU returns to Stillwater Friday for a four-game homestand against UMass.
