MEMPHIS, Tennessee -- Tulsa fell 75-53 in its regular season finale Saturday against Memphis.
Jerome Jordan led Tulsa (21-10, 10-6) with 19 points, while Bishop Wheatley scored 12 -- all in the first half.
Will Coleman scored 15 points and grabbed nine rebounds for the Tigers (23-8, 13-3) while Doneal Mack added 14 points. The senior, playing in his final home game, left late in the second half to a standing ovation, leaning down to kiss the tiger at midcourt as he departed.
The Memphis defense held Tulsa to 40.4 percent shooting (21-of-52) including 1-of-10 from the 3-point line. Ben Uzoh, Tulsa's leading scorer, was limited to six points, and attempted just five shots.
Most of Jordan's points came in the second half after Memphis already held a 20-point advantage.
Tulsa's third-leading scorer, Justin Hurtt (14.2 points), scored only four points, missing seven of his eight shots.
Memphis was already leading by double digits in the second half when the Tigers went on an 11-0 run to extend the lead past 20. From there, Memphis coasted to its 12th straight win over the Golden Hurricane, who has not defeated the Tigers since March 27, 2001.
