James Anderson Splits Big 12 Player of the Week Honors

For the second time this season, the Oklahoma State guard grabbed the award.

STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- Oklahoma State's James Anderson has been named the Big 12 Conference co-Player of the Week.

Anderson had 20 points in an OSU win at Iowa State and scored 31 in a home win over No. 22 Baylor. He also had 20 rebounds, six assists, two blocks and two steals in the two games.

He shares the weekly award with Kansas State guard Denis Clemente who averaged 24 points per game in wins over Nebraska and Oklahoma.

It’s the second time this season that Anderson has won the award – Jan. 25th was the first.

Oklahoma native Xavier Henry of Kansas is the Rookie of the Week after averaging 18 points and six rebounds per game in wins over Texas A&M and Colorado.
