AMES, Iowa -- Oklahoma State blew a double-digit lead but survived a near disaster by defeating Iowa State 69-64 Wednesday.

Obi Muonelo scored 21 straight points on his way to a season-high 31 for the Cowboys. James Anderson scored 20 points while Keiton Page chipped-in 12 off the bench.

The Cyclones (13-13, 2-9) opened the second half on a 15-8 run to tie the game at 45. Dominique Buckley’s 3-pointer gave Iowa State a 50-47 lead at the 12:04 mark.

However, that would be the Cyclones first and only lead of the game.

The Cowboys (18-7, 6-5) promptly regained the lead and were able to keep a slim advantage over Iowa State down the stretch. Scott Christopherson’s 3-point attempt to tie the game at 67 fell short with 22 seconds left.

Oklahoma State went on a 14-2 run midway through the first half to take a 27-8 lead. However, Iowa State continually chipped away at the deficit. Iowa State went on a 12-1 run in the final five minutes to cut the lead to 37-30 at halftime.

Christopherson led the Cyclones with 19 points.

Oklahoma State now hits the murders row portion of its schedule. The Cowboys host No. 22 Baylor, play at 15th-ranked Texas, host No. 1 Kansas and travel to College Station to face No. 24 Texas A&M.
