TULSA, Oklahoma -- ORU head coach Scott Sutton discussed his brother and former OSU head coach Sean Sutton’s recent legal trouble, following the Golden Eagles' win against IUPUI.
Sean Sutton was arrested in Stillwater Thursday for attempting to possess controlled dangerous substances.
“The last few days have been awfully tough for our family,” Scott Sutton said. “I can’t express to all the people out there how much our family appreciates all the love and support that they’ve shown us here in the last couple days.”

“All I ask is that you continue to pray for us. We’ve got a pretty tough family. We’re going to get through this.”
Although the former OSU coach has found himself in the midst of a personal dilemma, ORU’s Scott Sutton has had to focus his mind and energy on the hardwood.
“It’s been tough the last two days, but that’s what I’m supposed to do,” Scott Sutton said. “My concentration was fully on this game.”
