FORT WAYNE, Indiana -- The Oral Roberts Golden Eagles saw their seven-game winning streak come to an end Monday after struggling to bounce back from a rocky first half against the Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne Mastodons.
IPFW scored 57 in the first half, shooting 72 percent from the field and 73 percent from behind the arch. ORU fell to a 15-point deficit by halftime after shooting only 34 percent from the field and 21 percent from the 3-point line.
Kevi Luper, who was named Summit League Player for the sixth time this season Feb. 2, scored 33 points and posted 11 rebounds, earning her fourth double-double. She went 12-of-14 from the free-throw line.
Jaci Bigham added 17 points and seven assists for the Golden Eagles. Teammate Janae Voelker scored 11 points, surpassing 1,300 career points.
IPFW’s Anne Boese scored 26 points, while Stephanie Rosado added 24 points and nine rebounds.
Oral Roberts will next host IUPUI Saturday at 2 p.m.
