COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- No. 15 Oklahoma State was down big early, but a second-half scoring flurry allowed the Cowgirls to upset the No. 8 Texas A&M Aggies 67-63.

Texas A&M started the game on an 11-2 run five minutes in, which eventually ballooned into a 15-4 lead less than halfway through the opening half.

OSU struggled early on, shooting 3-of-18 in the opening 20 minutes, including scoring droughts of four and five minutes on its way to the early deficit.

Andrea Riley was not exempt to the first-half offensive struggles. The normally incandescent scorer was held without a basket for the first half of the opening 20 minutes, and scored her first points on a fast-break layup with slightly more than 10 minutes on the clock.

Riley finished the first half with four points on a 2-of-10 shooting performance.

Texas A&M forward Danielle Adams was lights-out early on, scoring 14, while shooting 7-of-10 including 2-of-2 from behind the arc in the opening half.

Riley came to life in the second half, scoring 27 of her 31 points in closing 20 minutes.

With 3:36 left in the game she grabbed her own rebound, scored the put-back layup and converted on the free throw to give the Cowgirls hope of pulling the upset.

Three possessions later Riley stripped the ball from Adams and despite missing the following layup, Precious Robinson scored the put-back to give the Cowgirls their first lead with exactly one minute to play.

Tegan Cunningham grabbed 14 rebounds in the contest and scored 18 to combine with Riley for 49 of the Cowgirls 67 points.

OSU continues the Big 12 gauntlet Feb. 3 in Lincoln against the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
