TULSA, Oklahoma -- Oral Roberts held on to defeat South Dakota State 68-63 Saturday night. Dominique Morrison finished with 21 points, Michael Craion added 16 while Warren Niles had 12.
The Golden Eagles (13-10, 8-3) held a 10 point advantage twice in the second half but SDSU (11-11, 7-4) was able to whittle down the lead to 64-63 with 40 seconds left. ORU made four-of-six free throws down the stretch to ice the game.
South Dakota State was up 20-13 with 9:51 remaining in the first half. ORU used a 17-9 run to take a 30-29 lead into the locker room at half time.
Clint Sargent had a game-high 21 points for the Jackrabbits.
