NORMAN, Oklahoma -- The Norman Municipal Attorney has filed a public intoxication charge in Municipal Court against Dusty Dvoracek. Upon conviction, the charge carries a fine of $50 to $500.
The former Oklahoma Sooners lineman will appear in court at a time to be determined to either plead guilty, plead not guilty, plead no contest, or ask for a trial before a judge.
The City has also filed public intoxication charges against the other two people arrested at Seven47--Brandon Dale Babb and Cason Grant Hill.
Earlier this month, Dvoracek was involved in an altercation at Seven47, resulting in his arrest.
The assault and battery complaints against Dvoracek and Babb have not been filed yet. The parties are being asked to resolve this through mediation.
The City is not filing a charge of interfering with a police officer against Dvoracek at this time. The Municipal Attorney wants to review the case a bit further.
