Oral Roberts Men Defeat Western Illinois

MACOMB, Illinois -- The Oral Roberts men completed a Golden Eagles sweep of Western Illinois downing the Leathernecks 74-62 Saturday. The ORU women defeated Western Illinois 82-57 earlier Saturday,

ORU (10-9, 5-3 ) used a 19-7 to break a 46-46 tie midway through the second half and take a 65-53 lead. The Leathernecks (7-10, 1-6) never came closer than eight points down the stretch.

Dominique Morrison, Warren Niles and Kevin Ford each finished with 15 points for the Eagles. Ken Holdman and Michael Craion had 11 points apiece.

Ceola Clark and Quenton Kirby each scored 13 points for the Leathernecks.

ORU will host the Tulsa Golden Hurricane Wednesday Jan 20.
