Oklahoma State Closes Out Non-Conference With a Win

The Cowboys took on Coppin State in their final game before kicking off Big 12 play.

STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- It was more easy sailing for the Cowboys as they closed out non-conference play with a win over Coppin State, 79-61.

James Anderson led the charge for Oklahoma State, notching 26 points, six rebounds, four assists and four steals, leading the team in all categories.

Sophomore guard Keiton Page wasn’t far behind Anderson in scoring, finishing the game with 20 points, including 15 from behind the arc.

For the Eagles, Michael Harper was the man, scoring 21 points, while shooting 8-15 from the floor and 5-7 from behind the 3-point line. VinceGoldsberry did his job setting the table for Coppin State with seven assists on the night.

The Cowboys start conference play against Texas Tech at home Saturday, Jan. 9 at 7:05 p.m.
