OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Tulsa Golden Hurricane’s Larrissa Williams has been named Conference USA Basketball Player of the Week, the first Player of the Week honor for TU this season.
The senior was the only player in Conference USA to average a double-double over the holiday break. She averaged 19.5 points and 11.5 rebounds per game in the Golden Hurricane’s wins against Cal State-Fullerton and McNeese State. Williams set a C-USA single-game high for this season when she recorded seven blocks against McNeese.
Williams averages 15.2 points and 8.9 rebounds. She has 25 blocks, nine steals and eight assists this season.
It is the second time in Williams’ career that she has been named C-USA Player of the Week.
