STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- Point guard Andrea Riley broke the career scoring record at Oklahoma State in the Cowgirls 90-65 win over Oral Roberts. She finished with 28 points, 11 assists and six steals. Tegan Cunningham had 15 points and Precious Robinson added 14 off the bench.
Riley entered Tuesday night's game against five points shy of Clinette Jordan's 2,168 points. Riley hit a 3-pointer in the opening minute and then sank two free throws to break the record with 13:56 left before halftime. Riley set a school record with 17 assists in Saturday's 100-68 win over Mercer. She holds the record for the two highest-scoring seasons in Oklahoma State history.
The Cowgirls (9-2) have won five straight.
The Golden Eagles' Jaci Bigham matched Riley with 28 points. Jordan Pyle added 19, however, they were the only Golden Eagles (7-5) players in double figures. Kevi Luper, the nation's leading scorer, did not play due to an arm injury.
