NORMAN, Oklahoma -- Oklahoma's Brian Lepak could miss the Sun Bowl against Stanford with a sprained knee, putting the Sooners in position to start a fourth different center this season. Lepak suffered the injury during a drill.
Coach Bob Stoops said that he doesn't know whether Lepak will be able to recover in time to play in the bowl game against Stanford.
Lepak transferred from Colorado State and became the starter after Ben Habern and converted tight end Brody Eldridge were both lost for the season due to injuries. Eldridge suffered a neck injury in November and Habern broke his left leg in the Sooners' next-to-last game of the regular season at Texas Tech.
Stoops says it's possible All-American left tackle Trent Williams could move to center to fill in for Lepak. Williams has worked out at center during the season due to the injuries.
