OSU's Okung and Cox Named to AP All-Big 12 First Team

The Oklahoma State Cowboys placed two players on the AP first team and two on the second team.

DALLAS -- Oklahoma State offensive lineman Russell Okung earned a unanimous selection to the 2009 Associated Press All-Big 12 first team. The junior made the team for the second straight year.

Cowboys’ defensive back Perrish Cox was a first team selection on defense. The senior recorded four interceptions this season and made a big impact on special teams as well. Cox returned two kickoffs and two punts for touchdowns.

Running back Keith Toston and linebacker Donald Booker were named to the second team.

Center Andrew Lewis, quarterback Zac Robinson, linebackerPat Lavine, defensive backs Lucien Antoine and Quinton Carter, and punter Quinn Sharp were given nods as honorable mentions.
