Trent Williams Named All-American

The Texas native was the lone returning starter on the line from last season.

NORMAN, Oklahoma -- Offensive tackle Trent Williams has been named an All-American by the American Football Coaches’ Association. Williams is the 149th All-American.

Williams led the Sooners in 2009 with 102 knockdown blocks and 885 plays.

The Longview, Texas native was the only returning member from last year’s OU starting offensive line.

This is the fifth time in the last six seasons that a Sooners offensive lineman has been named an All-American.
