HUNTSVILLE, Texas -- The Oral Roberts women's basketball team overcame a season-high 32 turnovers and won their third straight with a 101-85 victory over Sam Houston State.

Kevi Luper led the way with a 29-point performance, but she was overshadowed by the fact that ORU had three players record double-doubles.

Jordan Pyle had 19 points and a career-high 13 rebounds, Georgia Jones posted 10 points and handed out 10 assists, and Janae Voelker earned her 24th-career double-double with 10 points and 10 boards.

The Golden Eagles began the opening half of play with a 23-5 run as the Bearkats failed to score a field goal through the game's first nine minutes. Sam Houston State closed the gap to five, though, by ending the opening half on a 13-4 run.

In the second half, the Golden Eagles put together a 9-0 run to push the lead to 17 points and maintained its double-digit lead through the remainder of the contest.

ORU shot a blazing 67 percent from the field in the second half for a 46 percent mark for the game

Oral Roberts completes its road trip at 7:00 p.m. tomorrow night at No. 17 Texas.
