IRVING, Texas -- Either way it goes, the eyes of the nation will be on Stillwater, Oklahoma on Oct. 31.
The Big 12 Conference announced that the Texas-Oklahoma State game on Halloween night was selected for prime-time television, kicking off at 7:00 p.m. at T. Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater.
There are two television options for the game. It could receive a split national telecast on ABC, shared with the USC-Oregon game. The other option is the game being televised in the entire nation on ESPN2.
The network has the final say in the network.
This is the eighth straight season that the Texas-Oklahoma State game has been selected for a national broadcast.
