TULSA, Oklahoma – Friends and family gathered to remember a Tulsa man gunned down during an armed robbery last May.

Howard 'Bud' Stoddard was shot and killed when three gunmen robbed the Rib Crib 16th and Harvard on May 20, 2010. Investigators said Stoddard, who had worked at the restaurant for eight years, had just taken out the trash when the gunmen followed him in through the back door.

Dozens of people, including his family, gathered outside the restaurant Friday night, May 20, 2011, to remember Stoddard. They released white balloons with written messages on them. The crowd also lit candles to honor Stoddard.

Police arrested Isaiah Peevy, D'Andre Finnie and Deonte Marshall for the crime. They are awaiting trial.
