TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa Police are looking for a man who tried to rob the Soccer City store at 61st and 118th East Avenue overnight Thursday.

Officers say the man got into the building when a member of the cleaning crew took out the trash around 12:30 a.m. He hit a female manager with the butt of a sawed-off shotgun trying to get her to open the safe, but she couldn't get it to work.

He was in the store for eight to 10 minutes then ran off without getting any money. No one was seriously injured.

Officer Adam James said the suspect is a black male, 22 to 30 years old with a thin, muscular build. He was wearing dark clothing and a mask.

If you know anything that can help police solve this crime, call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
