Tulsa Doctor Returns Home After 8 Months In Afghanistan

TULSA, Oklahoma -- A Tulsa doctor, his wife and their two young children are returning from Afghanistan Tuesday morning after he provided medical care for 8 months in the country's capital city of Kabul.

In addition, Dr. Mitchell Duininck also educated Afghanistan physicians and other medical staff.

Dr. Duininck and his Family Medical Care partners are involved with numerous international medical outreaches around the world.

Through their non-profit organization, In His Image International, the physicians have helped establish family medicine residency training programs in Afghanistan, China, Egypt and Kazakhstan.
