Special Olympics "Flame of Hope" Leaves Tulsa For Stillwater

Officers from the Tulsa Police Department began an annual tradition of carrying the Special Olympics "Flame of Hope" through downtown Wednesday morning.

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Officers from the Tulsa Police Department began an annual tradition of carrying the Special Olympics "Flame of Hope" through downtown Wednesday morning.

A short time later Tulsa officers passed the torch to members of the Sand Springs Police Department at 81st and Charles Page Boulevard.

From there it will go all the way to Stillwater, for the opening ceremonies of the Special Olympics Wednesday evening.
