Bixby BBQ 'N Music Festival Continues Saturday

BIXBY, Oklahoma -- Bixby BBQ ‘N Music – formerly known as Bixby BBQ ‘N Blues – begins Friday night at Washington Irving Memorial Park. The sights and sounds of summer arrive a bit early as the 10th annual festival kicks off.

The festival runs from 5 to 11 p.m. Friday, May 6 and continues from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Saturday, May 7.

There will be up to 100 BBQ teams in competition with people's choice taster kits sold from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday (or until supplies run out).

The music is free, but there's a $5 entry fee per vehicle. A Kids Zone day pass is $12, and coupons to save $2 are available at the Bixby Rotary Club web site.
