Carlos Santana To Stop In Tulsa In September

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Carlos Santana will be stopping at Tulsa's BOK Center in early September.

His "Sound of Collective Consciousness Tour" kicks off in August in Seattle and arrives in Tulsa on September 7, 2011.

Carlos and the Santana Band will perform classics from the group's four-decades-long career, and spotlight songs from Santana's latest album, Guitar Heaven: The Greatest Guitar Classics of All Time.

To date, Santana has won ten Grammy Awards, including a record-tying nine for a single project, 1999's Supernatural, including Album of the Year and Record of the Year for "Smooth."

In 1998, the group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Tickets will go on sale on May 14, 2011.
