VERDIGRIS, Oklahoma -- A driver is said to be OK after driving into the path of a train Monday morning.
Authorities say the man was exiting a private drive off Highway 66 when the train hit his pickup.
It's not known if the train had sounded its horn, however troopers say trains are not required to do so while crossing private drives.
The driver had to be extricated from the Ford pickup before he could be taken to a local hospital.
Troopers are blaming the crash on the inattentive driver.
