Terlton Woman Killed In Single-Car, Creek County Accident

Rhonda Lee, 53, was going northbound on Highway 48 at near State Highway 51 when her pickup left the roadway and rolled, according to an Oklahoma trooper.

CREEK COUNTY, Oklahoma -- A 53-year-old Terlton woman was killed when she was ejected from her pickup in a single-car crash that took place at about 6:30 p.m. Friday on State Highway 48 in Creek County.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Russell Callicoat reports that Rhonda Lee was driving northbound on Highway 48 at near State Highway 51 when her 2001 Dodge pickup left the roadway to the right. The truck hit a guardrail and rolled one time.

Lee was ejected about 10 feet from the truck. She died at the scene.

Cause of the accident is listed as driver inattention, according to the report.

Lee's condition at the time of the wreck is listed as normal. She was not wearing a seat belt.
