Free Days At Tulsa Landfill Just In Time For Spring Cleaning

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Doing a little spring cleaning? The City of Tulsa is making it easier for you to dump those unwanted items.

Free Landfill Days for Tulsa utility customers are scheduled Saturday, April 16, and Sunday, April 17, 2011, at the Quarry Landfill on 46th Street North about a mile east of U.S. 169.

Residents will need to show a utility bill and ID to avoid paying a fee. The open hours will be 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.

There will be a $2 fee for disposal of tires and items containing Freon will not be accepted.
