1 oz butter
1/2 oz sliced red onion, caramelized
1/2 oz bacon, cooked and crumbled
4 oz Alfredo sauce
2 oz cheddar cheese, grated
1 slice American cheese
6 oz penne or farfalle pasta, cooked al dente
1/4 c fresh breadcrumbs
Heat butter and red onion in saute pan and saute onion until lightly browned.
Add bacon and Alfredo sauce.
Heat to a simmer, add cheddar and american cheese and heat until melted. Stir in pasta, then transfer to serving dish.
Top with breadcrumbs and bake in a 400 degress oven until breadcrumbs are brown and crisp.
