No Homes Threatened In Grassfire Near Bixby

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa County is under a week-long burn ban. That means absolutely no outdoor burning, including gas grilling, because conditions are dangerously dry.

SkyNews6 spotted a line of smoke south of Bixby. Flames chewed up rural countryside, burning brush and dry grass.

The fire wasn't threatening any homes and it appeared crews were lighting backfires to get it under control.

There is no word on what caused the fire.
