TULSA, Oklahoma -- Two people are arrested after leading authorities on high speed chase through several Tulsa County communities.
The chase began around 5 a.m. when a Bixby police officer attempted to stop a Chevrolet Blazer for a minor traffic violation.
Multiple agencies joined in the pursuit as the Blazer led police through several jurisdictions. The Blazer finally lost control and spun out at the 41st Street Exit off Highway 75.
Officials say the driver attempted to take off again, but was stopped when a trooper rammed his cruiser into the blazer pinning the vehicle against a rail.
Both the driver, 32-year-old Robert Justyn Williams, and passenger were taken into custody.
Williams was booked into Tulsa County Jail on complaints of improper right turn, eluding police after former conviction of a felony, attempting to destroy evidence and possession of a controlled drug.
