TULSA, Oklahoma -- All four lanes of Sheridan Road between East Admiral Place and East 11th Street have re-opened to traffic.
This portion of the project was approved by voters in a 2005 Bond Issue.
In a news release, Tulsa city officials say construction continues on South Sheridan between East 11th Street and East 21st Street, with one northbound lane and one southbound lane open to traffic.
Completion is scheduled for July 2011.
The project includes street rehabilitation, replacing sidewalks where needed, and traffic signal upgrades at the intersections of Sheridan with East Fourth Place, East 11th Street and East 21st Street.
Voters approved work on this portion of the project when they passed the 2006 Third Penny Sales Tax.
