Wednesday Morning Domestic Dispute Sends Two To Tulsa Hospital

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa Police are still investigating a domestic dispute which resulted in a shooting early Wednesday morning.

Police say firefighters were the first on the scene at the Cobblestone Apartments near the 7300 block of 51st Street at around 2:30 a.m.

Tulsa Police found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg and his girlfriend, who is 7 months pregnant, with some head injuries and bruises to the face.

The woman told officers she had been beat in the face and head by her intoxicated boyfriend.  She also said because of fear for her and her unborn child, she grabbed her boyfriend's gun and shot him in the leg.

Both were taken by EMSA to a Tulsa hospital to be checked out.
