OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma's darkest day is getting the Hollywood treatment.

Oscar-winning director Barry Levinson will direct a political thriller based on the 1995 bombing of the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City.

Sources tell CNN that the film's tentative title is OKC.

The script was written by the brother of a legal clerk on Timothy McVeigh's defense team.
