TULSA, Oklahoma -- Construction on westbound Interstate 44 near Riverside Drive is expected to continue through the weekend, according to the Oklahoma Department of Transportation.

Drivers should expect "various lane closures" on the Interstate between Riverside and the U.S. Highway 75 junction until about 6 a.m. Monday as ODOT performs surface repairs to the roadway.

Crews are making cuts to the roadway surface to level the surface where there are potholes.
