Tulsa Police Find Shooting Victim In SUV

Police responded to a "shots fired" call and found a wounded man in a sport utility vehicle early Saturday morning.

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Police responded to a "shots heard" call and found a wounded man in a sport utility vehicle early Saturday morning. The call came in at 12:35 a.m., leading police to the 200 block of South Peoria.

While at the scene, police saw a gray SUV speeding away from the area. They stopped the vehicle and police found a man and woman in the front seat and a wounded man in the back seat. The man had been shot in the leg.

Police said the wound to the man's thigh was severe, though he was conscious and talking when taken to the hospital.

Officers are investigating the incident.
