TULSA, Oklahoma -- A Tulsa teenager was arrested early Friday morning on a first-degree burglary complaint after a homeowner held him at gunpoint until police officers arrived.

Police say the suspect is only 17 years old.

Tulsa Police were sent to the home in the 6900 block of East 106th Street shortly before 4:30 Friday morning.

The homeowner told police someone rang the front doorbell several times before walking to the rear of the home and forcing open a window.  Police say once inside, the juvenile began rummaging through items in the home apparently looking for narcotics.

The homeowner then surprised the juvenile with a gun.  Police arrived and took the teen into custody.
