Two Flee Pickup Truck Crash On Downtown Tulsa Highway

TULSA, Oklahoma -- The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is still looking for the driver and a passenger in a pickup truck found wrecked on the IDL in downtown Tulsa early Friday morning.

OHP, Tulsa Fire and EMSA were dispatched to the crash scene at 1:30 a.m. where the IDL splits for the Broken Arrow Expressway and U.S. Highway 75.

The pickup truck was straddling a portable safety barrier behind a parked construction truck.

Troopers say the location is a frequent location for wrecks because drivers sometime make bad decisions as the road splits.
