Tulsa Man Arrested After Firing Gun Into The Air

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa Police arrest a man after he started shooting in the parking lot of a north Tulsa apartment complex late Tuesday night.

At around 11:15 p.m. officers were called to the Bradford Apartments on North Garrison.

Police found a man outside an apartment holding a handgun. The suspect didn't comply with police orders to put the weapon down, so they hit him with a pepper ball.

He was checked out by EMSA and will be okay.

The man was taken to Tulsa County jail for mishandling a firearm.

Investigators don't believe he shot anyone, but rather just fired shots into the air.
