WASHINGTON -- Oklahoma Senator Tom Coburn says he knows where the country could save money.

Coburn claims the federal government wastes at least $100 billion by paying for the same thing twice.

At Coburn's request, the Government Accountability Office published a 345-page report, highlighting overlap, duplication and out-and-out misspending.

"I would ask every one of you to look at this report because none of us would run our families this way, none of us would run our businesses this way," Senator Coburn said.

Coburn offers several examples including the 15 different agencies administering America's food laws and the eight agencies that oversee bioterrorism prevention.
