UNDATED -- The Human Papillomavirus [HPV] virus is known for causing cervical cancer in women, but a new study finds 50% of men are infected with HPV virus.
Most of the time, the virus goes away on its own. But there are 32,000 cancers a year caused by HPV, and there is now growing concern that HPV in men is responsible for an increase in head and neck cancers.
The CDC says HPV is is the most common sexually transmitted virus in the United States.
