Tulsa Man Arrested For Dumping Ashes Of Girlfriend's Ex

TULSA, Oklahoma -- A Tulsa man was arrested after police say he tried to get back at his girlfriend by dumping her ex-husband's ashes out in a parking lot.

Officers arrested 30-year-old Demario Johnson on February 26, 2011, after an argument with his girlfriend.

Police say Johnson grabbed the urn holding the ashes of his girlfriend's ex-husband and scattered the ashes across the parking lot at the apartment complex where he and the woman live.

Johnson was booked into the Tulsa jail on one complaint of domestic assault and battery in the presence of a minor, aggravated assault and battery, resisting arrest and unlawful removal of human remains.
