TULSA, Oklahoma -- The Tulsa City Council has scheduled a discussion Tuesday morning of Mayor Dewey Bartlett's term in office, including a "proposed course of action to resolve the misconduct."

According to the agenda for the City Council meeting, City Councilor John Eagleton has a presentation planned "regarding the Mayor's actions over his past 14 months in office."

The agenda also lists "a proposed course of action to resolve the misconduct."

The presentation is set to follow a discussion with Mayor Bartlett of his latest veto of one of the council's initiatives.

The council approved a $376,000 increase to salaries in the fire department, but the budget amendment was vetoed by Bartlett.  Since the veto, the City Attorney's office issued an opinion that the Council cannot legally initiate budget amendments.

The Tulsa city council strongly disagrees with the opinion.
