STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- Oklahoma State University will swish for a good cause during the men's basketball game Saturday. Coaches vs. Cancer will hold its annual SWISH Day at 12:30 p.m. to raise money for the American Cancer Society.
Four children who are battling cancer will be introduced to the crowd before the game starts, then they will shoot baskets to help raise funds. Each child will be paired with a "celebrity" who will either rebound or shoot for them.
Buckets will be passed throughout the arena during the first time out to collect donations from the crowd. Ten-year-old cancer survivor Morgan Snowden will also be selling sets of note cards she designed.
If you can't make the game, Morgan's note cards are available at Joes' Clothes, DuPrees and Chris' University.
All the proceeds will stay in the state of Oklahoma to fund research, education and patient services acing to a release by the university.
