Tulsa Woman In Need Gets New Heater

TULSA, Oklahoma -- The News on 6 is helping heat hearts this winter.

Workers from Airco installed a brand new heating system at Janet Abraham's home Thursday morning.

Crews took out her old, broken heater and put in a Lenox high efficiency system.

"This is the best part, actually out here seeing what a impact a program like this can make," Tom Boyce, with Airco, said.

News On 6 partnered with Airco Service to give two families a new furnace, including Janet. She and the other recipient, Melissa Shell, both had been living without heat for more than a year.
